Former Star of Taxi and Grease, star Jeff Conaway has just passed away at the age of 60. Some says he die of drug overdose to pain medication. Jeff appears on Dr. Drew’s TV show called “celebrity Rehab” in 2008 and he came out and admitted that he had an addition to cocaine, alcohol and painkillers.
His rep confirms that he was hospitalized the same day due to painkiller reaction, not according to Dr. Drew Pinsky, he came out defense the actor over the weekend and set the record straight and say he was in a coma sine May 11th, 2011 and as of today he lost the battle to pneumonia.
Jeff had achieved many outstanding works during his lifetime on earth including the very well known, which starts his career in acting in 1978 with the role in Greece. Not only that he appears in countless movies and TV shows, his recent movie, which he just done called Date’s Inferno Documented .
Some of the major high profile roles he has been in are Happy Days, and had started in a film around 1983 with a series spin off called “ Wizard and Warriors as he also worked on “ The Bold and The Beautiful from the 1989 to 1930s .

Hollywood is in mourning over the death of Actor Jeff Conway. According to the Associated Press, Conway was taken off of Life Support on Thursday and died this morning at Encino Tarzana Medical Center. He was found unconscious from a drug overdose on May 11th and rushed to the hospital. “Conway had been treating himself with pain pills and cold medicine while in a weakened condition,” said Phil Brock, his other manager.
Jeff Conway is known for his starring roles in the legendary movie “Grease” and the hit sitcom “Taxi”.
He has had a horrible struggle with drugs and alcohol for over 20 years. Jeff publicly shared his battle his on the show “Celebrity Rehab” .
A fall in 2010 caused a broken hip and other injuries that left him in more precarious health. However, he still would make appearances especially for charity events with his unforgettable smile.
Conway was born in New York City on Oct. 5, 1950, to parents who were in show business. His father was an actor, producer and agent and his mother was an actress.
He made his Broadway debut in 1960 at the age of 10 in the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama “All the Way Home.” By then his parents were divorced, and Conway had spent a great deal of time with his grandparents who lived in the Astoria section of Queens.
Many close to Jeff knew that in his struggles with his health, he had a big heart.”He’s a gentle soul with a good heart … but he’s never been able to exorcise his demons,” Brock said after Conway was hospitalized.
Jeff Conway will be truly missed by all that loved him. He is gone but definitely will never be forgotten.
